The latest version of the OCD isn’t just a new number—it’s a sonic evolution. Built on the legendary platform that made it one of the most loved overdrive pedals of the last two decades, this v2.01 update brings subtle but powerful enhancements that push the OCD’s dynamics, clarity, and versatility even further. Still based on the iconic 2 x MOSFET hard-clipping to voltage reference configuration that set it apart from every Tube Screamer clone out there, this version now includes a Class A JFET input stage and Fulltone’s proprietary Enhanced Bypass system.
What’s new? The input impedance has been raised to 1M ohm for better response with any pickup type, delivering improved articulation and interaction with your guitar. The new output buffer ensures your tone remains punchy and consistent across complex pedalboards and long cable runs. The Enhanced Bypass mode breathes life into your entire signal chain, even when the pedal is off—reviving dynamics and tone like a great Class A preamp, but without the EQ coloration. True Bypass or Enhanced Bypass? You choose with an internal switch, both modes completely pop-free.
