A piece of real Fender history, built during one of the most debated yet fascinating eras of Stratocaster production. This 1976 Sunburst Strat carries the hallmarks of the CBS period: the large headstock with CBS black logo, the three-bolt neck plate with Micro Tilt adjustment, a one-piece maple neck with 7.25" radius rosewood fretboard, Alnico 5 grey-bottom single coil pickups under a 3-ply black pickguard, and the thick-skin poly finish that defined the look of the mid-seventies Stratocaster. Love it or debate it, this is an authentic piece of electric guitar history that sounds and plays like a vintage Fender. Vintage Fenders attract a lot of questions, and rightly so.
The tone pots have been replaced during its lifetime for diMarzio pots. Same goes for the white pickups cover (but they do look good and SRVish) and the 5 position switch.
