The first thing that grabs you is the colour. Super Faded Aged Cimarron Red is a rare and unusual Fender Custom Shop finish that sits somewhere between burgundy purple and faded red, shifting in the light from a dusky wine to a warm, washed out crimson that no standard production model can match. Years of simulated wear have softened it into something that looks genuinely vintage, and the Journeyman Relic treatment lets the colour breathe through honest checking and play marks. Under that finish sits a tinted quartersawn maple neck with a comfortable 63 Strat Style C profile, an AAA rosewood fingerboard and a 9.5" radius, with a heavier relic on the neck back for instant played in feel. The three hand wound 64 Strat single coils deliver the full, expressive midrange with clear highs and defined lows that define the mid sixties Stratocaster voice. With its period correct small headstock, 21 vintage 6105 frets and its limited edition decal and Certificate of Authenticity, this is a Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster that is as collectible as it is distinctive.
