The Mid 60s Oval C neck profile fills the hand with that rounded, unmistakably vintage grip, carved from a quartersawn flame maple neck and topped with a rosewood fingerboard and a 9.5" radius. The heavily worn 3-Color Sunburst finish wears its genuine relic checking with pride, looking and feeling like an instrument that has been played hard for decades. At its heart sit the Fender Custom Shop Eric Johnson pickups, wound to his exact specs for bell-like clarity, glassy highs, a pronounced quack in positions two and four, and a smooth, vocal midrange. With shell dot inlays, a mint green relic pickguard and aged nickel hardware, every detail on this Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster is built to look and sound like a true 60s instrument.
