This special edition Uni-Vibe Chorus/Vibrato pays tribute to Jimi Hendrix with a custom finish inspired by John Van Hamersveld’s famous 1968 Shrine Auditorium concert poster art, remixed by Simon Berndt of One Horse Town Illustration. Star spangled details and psychedelic lettering capture the explosive energy of Hendrix’s performance and the unmistakable vibe of that historic moment.
Built into a compact MXR mini housing, the Authentic Hendrix ’68 Shrine Series Uni-Vibe Chorus/Vibrato delivers the thick, swirling textures that define classic Uni-Vibe tones in stunning analog character, while taking up a fraction of the space of the vintage Shin ei unit Hendrix used from 1969 to 1970. Expect that chewy pulse, liquid movement, and three dimensional wash that made these sounds legendary.
