Big headstock, a substantial 1969 "U" neck profile and a faded Olympic White nitro finish that looks like it has been out of the case since the CBS era: this is the late sixties Stratocaster at its most recognisable. The alder body wears a Journeyman Relic treatment, which is the sweet spot in the Fender Custom Shop aging range. Enough honest wear to kill the fear of the first ding, not so much that the guitar looks like a prop. The maple neck has a round laminated maple fingerboard and the neck back has been left unfinished, so it feels broken in from the very first chord.
Under the parchment pickguard sit three 69 Strat single coils with Alnico 5 magnets. That is exactly why so many players chase this year: full and punchy, warm in a way that never turns muddy, and famously happy in front of a fuzz or a wah. This particular guitar was built for the European market in 2024 as part of a dedicated Fender Custom Shop dealer order, and it ships in its original black Custom Shop hardshell case with the Shop Floor Traveler.
