Finished in a head turning Sparkle Green metalflake that throws light from every angle, this New Old Stock instrument pairs unmistakable late 1960s looks with hand built precision. Built by the Fender Custom Shop in Corona, California in June 1998 and signed off by Custom Shop Manager John Page (serial CN703333), it carries the period correct large headstock with transition logo, a warm round laminated rosewood fingerboard with a vintage 7.25" radius, and a Slim maple neck profile that feels broken in from the very first chord. A pearloid mother of pearl pickguard frames three hand wound Custom Shop single coil pickups, delivering that classic bell like clean chime, expressive midrange and the punchy late sixties Strat bark that responds beautifully to pedals and pick dynamics. With its vintage style synchronized tremolo, nickel hardware and untouched NOS finish, this is a genuine Fender Custom Shop piece from the celebrated John Page era, presenting clean and factory fresh with no relic wear. Please note that the neckplate has been replaced at some point in the guitar's life.
