This Limited Edition Stratocaster represents the very first era of Fender Custom Shop relic guitars—built exclusively for Norman’s Rare Guitars in 1997 and among the most collectible of the Cunetto run. It features a chunky but comfortable “V”‑shaped neck profile with a 9.5″ fingerboard radius and narrow‑tall 6105 frets, all hallmarks of the early Cunetto‑era Fender Custom Shop relic styling. The very light select swamp ash body sports a nitrocellulose lacquer in classic sunburst with authentic relic wear. It houses three Custom Shop-wound ’54 Strat single‑coils (non‑RWRP middle pickup), delivering that bright, bell‑like tone vintage aficionados crave.
The guitar was refretted by my luthier. So brand new, shiny frets!
