With the birth of the American Vintage Reissue, Fender started their ascend to greatness. In 1982 the first American Vintage Reissue (AVRI) was launched and it now is a very sought after collectors item, which also is a great investment. From '82 till '84 these AVRI Strats were produced in the Fullerton factory and are famous for their real Fullerton shape body. This guitar certainly is a very good investment, because it has never been played. It was part of a collection at a Fender Stratocaster enthusiast, who bought it and never played it. So this is a 40 year old, new guitar!
