A Strat is a Strat, isn’t it? Not really. Since ‘54 every Fender Stratocaster is different. Neck profile, pickups, weights, kind of woods used, fingerboard, finish, Custom Shop or reissue. Even if you have two Strats of the same year, the same type and the same setup, they will not sound and play the same. My advice, buy a used, vintage Strat. It will hold it's value, so you will play for free! What is your perfect vintage Strat? My answer: Never enough Strats!
